About Me
This past Easter (2026) after my church service, I got this feeling inside of me that told me to create this blog. And it was at a time when I felt not exactly but similar to how Job felt in the Bible, when God sent Satan to test Job’s faith in God. It was a time when I was homeless and had been living in my car for months. It was just a temporary setback that God put me through to mature me in a way that I can handle all that he has for me. And that’s what I stayed focused on. Me asking for help and handouts was equivalent to saying, I need man to help me cause God not helping me. And that wasn’t my truth. He was helping me internally, mentally, physically, spiritually, externally and emotionally. I didn’t starve to death cause he knew how long I could go without everything I thought I needed to survive. And he provided it when he could see that I needed it. It was just all in his timing instead of mine. So within that I learned a lot about discipline, trust, patience and faith.
These aren’t things you learn when you immediately go running to people for money, shelter, food and handouts. When you go that route, the majority of what you learn is new ways and organizations to ask, and depend on man for help instead of God. And I was determined not to do that. Even when people could see I was down bad without me telling them I was living in my car. I let them pray for me we discussed God and that was it. I never felt the need or urge to tell them my struggles or ask them for money cause God is my provider.
Nobody I’ve ever met (past or present/ related or non-related) can say she’s like that because of me or I had something to do with that. This experience was between me and God only. I’m like this because of the Holy Spirit, nothing else.
Thank you, Lord, for being my parent and picking up all those balls Cathy and William dropped and never attempted to pick up. Thank you for raising me to think like your child instead of theirs.
DISCLAIMER… when you have a strong relationship with God, you won’t have to ask people to help you in your time of need. The people that God sends you will help automatically without you having to ask.
